Corporation seeks Rs.100 crore for road repairs

Poor civic works in Chennai city is reflecting Chennai Corporation’s lack of planning. Un-necessarily funds are being released for the road construction and road repairs.
Chennai Corporation officials themselves claim that only 1 percent of the project for a new roads is sufficient, however they still spend around Rs 100 crores to repair and relay roads.
Also there are no traces to where these crores of rupees is being used.
