Delhi plans for innovation in public transportation
The Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy plans in Delhi has come up with a project to make full utilization of the dumped sewage.
Delhi has planned to run the public transportation buses using biogas. The biogas plant will be set up at Kesopur Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) complex in West Delhi.
This plan will be in collaboration with the Swedish government and the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy plans.
Once this project is completed, the capital city will be noted for upholding country’s first public transport using biogas.
