Demand for apartments in mohali is low

An auction made by Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) for Purab Apartments scheme is not able to attract home buyers.
GMADA offered 4500 apartments in the scheme. They received only 6500 applications against the auction.
According to an official of GMADA the allotment of the apartments will be made after the completion of the construction work.
Though all the apartments have buyers, but the interest of investors did not meet the GMADA expectation
