Efforts taken initiative by Lucknow Government to implement Solar Energy at Rural Areas
Lucknow government is ahead taking new steps in implementing solar power at rural areas also. Henceforth the government is subsidizing the solar power, the efforts of the government seems to be serious and for sure will be useful for the rural residents. Government is providing 50 percent subsidy for the solar powers up to 200 MW. Government says this is an optional way to reduce the rural prolonged power cuts. The residents in the villages will be taught upon the usage of the solar powers, they can also be used for domestic purposes in their daily lives.
V K Tiwari the project officer of UPNEDA reported saying that solar energy will prove helpful for the residents with India facing nearly 200 and odd sunny days. Only during rainy season the solar would prove laid off and this is promised to prove an alternative in case of power requirements. He also added on saying that this plan implementation is sure to prove prevalence of sufficient energy resources in the city. Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) has taken initiative of launching of these projects and is promised to be done at the earliest.
