Faridabad metro finally gets a nod!
The Delhi Metro rail extension in Delhi NCR finally got a nod! The MoU was signed in collaboration with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Haryana government.
The new metro line will extend on the Central Secretariat-Badarpur line.
This new metro line being Phase III of the Delhi Metro network having 13.8km corridor has been planned to have nine stations.
With the commence of DMRC tender, metro-III phase construction has started.
This will longest and fully-elevated corridor in NCR. The budget has been estimated cost of Rs 2,494 crore and can be expected during year 2014.
NHPC Chowk, Sector 27 A, Old Faridabad, Faridabad New Town, YMCA Chowk and Badkal Mor are few of stations under phase-III.
