Fight for open spaces in Bangalore
Bangalore city is on high alert, losing its sheen and glory it had much before in 90′s. It comes as a surprising news that open spaces in the city are getting shrinked off!
Today namma bengaluru has wide spread over 8,000kms of area but stands nowhere safe when it comes to the existence of open spaces.
With the commence of metro works in the city trees are being axed, cubbon park is shrinking day by day, a 165-acre open spaced colony is now in the hands of BDA to construct international convention centre and commercial complexes.
All these undoubtedly proves that there is shortage of open space in the city. Bangaloreans are awake and ready to fight for the replacement of glory the city had before.
