Foot over Bridge hardly any use to Noida Pedestrians
The foot over bridge in Noida is a busy sector at the 18 markets and Great India Place mall the traffic remains chaos. However the pedestrians have been causing traffic problems by not using the FOB and insisting the chaos are encouraged by the rickshaws and ferrying passengers from sector 18 Metro station. The construction of the FOB was initially sanctioned in 2009. However after much prolonged delays, the FOB was finally opened in August.
Officials reported saying that the escalator on the FoB will be operational in the near future however alongside planning for the traffic condition in the city is expected to improve. A senior traffic inspector, Saifuddin Beg reported saying that the Passengers commuting in rickshaws need to be responsible. The sector 18 markets is being raised and its work is expected to be finished in a week as this would stop pedestrians to dart across the roads.
