Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority ignores Civic woes
Citizens in Greater Noida are demanding an explanation of the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority’s (GNIDA) inability to handle the civic problems pertaining to the region. The Federation of Resident Welfare Associations have come up seeking an answer to the laxity in the work of the civic body. The problems ranges from cleaning to maintenance works in the urban sectors. The Federation has threatened that if the authority does not do anything immediately than they will resort to protests to seek a solution.
Residents are questioning the efficacy of GNID’s claim to keep the city clean. They are complaining that the officials have renounced the practice of visiting the locality to sort out the civic woes of the people living in these areas. Some are saying that it has been four months now since the GNID is a state of negligence. Officials at the GNID have said that the authority is unable to start new projects during to lack of funds however they will do their level best to ensure that the civic problems are sorted out.
