Green approach for Mosquito Control

Green approach to control the mosquito has been taken care of to keep the surroundings healthy and clean in Coimbatore by using sound. Environmental measures have been implemented to destroy mosquito larvae at breeding sites. Dr Herb Nyberk a famous scientist from USA reported on this issue saying that the sound energy of the new mosquito killing instrument the Acoustic Larvicide has hardly any chemical involved in it. It damages the internal tissues of mosquito larvae and kills them.
Acoustic Larvicide is said to be environment-friendly, target-specific and kills only mosquito larvae in sewage treatment plants, ponds and large size of ditches. Western Ghats is one of the hot spots of biodiversity and the implementation is needed attention for conservation as the high degree of plant and butterfly extinction is being faced.
