Green belt areas today care of auto stands and vegetable markets!
Green belt area at Sector 31 in Delhi NCR remains no more for the purpose it has to actually be!
Today, this area has been covered by slum dweller’s shanties. On the other part of it no developments are seen as half of the land is left barren.
The land is dumped with all junk materials; however the idea of encouraging green belt is to bring in stability in the environment which is not aimed at all here.
The residents who stay nearby complained saying that the plants before in this green belt has been cleared and today the land has been occupied by vegetable markets, vendors and auto stands.
