Haryana Govt to Regularize Unauthorized Colonies in Gurgaon
A survey for regularisation of 1,320 unauthorized colonies in Gurgaon has been conducted and the government has got reports on which it would take suitable action.
A meeting has been convened on September 14 under the chairmanship of chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, said Gopal Kanda, minister of state for urban local bodies, in reply to a question asked by Anand Kaushik during question hour in the Haryana assembly in Chandigarh on Tuesday.
Haryana government will soon take a decision on the issue of regularization of unauthorized colonies in the state. On the other hand, the assembly passed a bill allowing hike in the salaries of its members. Now, the salary of MLAs will be increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 per month. The increase will be effective from April 1, 2011.
