Hiranandani at present is target for affordable construction!
The Bombay High Court asked the Hiranandani builders to construct affordable houses in their upcoming residential projects.
Which is now followed up by a state teachers’ union asking the builder to consider flats for teachers from government-recognized schools.
The High Court noticing the extra built up area by the builder, has therefore ordered them to handover 15 percent of total developed space to the government at the rate of Rs 135 per square feet.
The Maharashtra Rajya Shikshak Parishad (MRSP), a state-wide teachers’ union wrote a letter to Chief Minister asking for the prevailence of providing flats for teachers who cannot afford house in Mumbai.
