Hiranandani ordered to build affordable flats in Mumbai
The Bombay High Court ordered Hiranandani to build affordable flats in Mumbai. Hiranandani has developed its township in suburban Powai, Mumbai which is known for its luxury.
However, the High Court ordered the developer not to build any project unless they are affordable for the middle class people of the society.
In follow up with the same, court has ordered Hiranandani to build 1,511 flats of 40 square meters area and 1,593 flats of 80 square meters area.
Also, a mandatory rule has been passed by the court not to sell more than one flat to same individual!

Yeah this makes sense! All the posh builders should start commence of affordable houses to pave way for comfortable living of middle class! I completely agree with the court order
