Housing Societies that lack proper documents may lose registration
The Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Board (UPHDB) has issued notice to the co-operative housing societies in Noida and Greater Noida that lack proper documents. The UP housing board has set the deadline of July 23 as the last date for these societies to submit documentary proofs that would establish that they exist and are functional.
“It was found during inspections that many of these housing societies in Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad have been non-functional for a long time,” said joint housing commissioner of cooperative societies D K Shukl.
“Many societies did not have offices and officials of the societies could not to be contacted,” said Shukl
UPHDB has issued notice to these societies to furnish proper reports and documents required of them or face getting de-registered. About 30 co-operative housing societies stand to lose their registrations following non-compliance with the rules and regulations of the Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act.
