Hyderabad Fire Service Department to legitate Highrise Building Owners
The Hyderabad fire services department is on a high alert to sue the builders who have raised high buildings and who have never aspired to claim a no objection certificate (NOC). These buildings are considered unsafe till the NOC is claimed, meanwhile the NOC may also order for a demolition drive of buildings which will be traced as unsafe. However legal notices will be served to the builders and also sufficient span will be granted to clear the issues.
Nearly 700 high-rise buildings have been traced in the city till date who had earlier claimed the NOC from fire service department during the year 2007 and 2010. One of the senior fire department official reported over this issue saying that they have been asked to check on high-rise buildings and also serve immediate legal notice to those builders for not updating or even bothering to claim the new NOC forms form the concerned departments. However the builders who flout law will be subjected of committing an offense under section 31 of the AP Fire Services Act 1999.
