Hyderabad State provisions over land acquisition
Revenue minister N Raghuveera Reddy in Hyderabad reported saying that the government gave state suggestions and reply over various subjects which could end up with a financial burden on the state. The state government also observed difference in the central government view over the non utilized land and recorded a case if the land was left same for more than five years of time from the time of purchase of their land and also thousands of acres had been acquired with the name of Jalayagnam program. The state government rejected the mandatory employment on the member of the affected family and also 15% interest on excess payment in the draft of the Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation and Resettlement Bill passed during this the year 2011.
The state had to implement its infrastructural projects over future irrigation projects.The state’s Section 46 draft bill was needed by the state to make interest payment of 15% suitably changed saying that the payment of this interest charge as it was creating a high financial burden on the state for more than 20 years. The sections may be amended for payment of interest by the nationalized banks. The state government demanded a change regarding passing an award from the time of proposal under Section 11-A of the LA Act 1894 which was included in the draft bill and the rehabilitation and resettlement (R&R) provision was to be taxed over land that was acquired by the government.
