No Comments Sub Category:Uncategorized Posted On: Sep 06, 2011

More than 500 buildings with violations have been identified in Chennai and notices are served under Tamil Nadu town planning Act. Several innocent people who are ignorant of building norms and town planning rules end up buying such buildings.

Flat buyers in the city should check the building norms and parking allotments, as the possibility of ending up with an illegal building or building with violations are prevalent in Chennai. With the parking space being a major issue new flats are monitored fore open space and parking lots.

Lack of periodical inspection and callous attitude by the field engineers has led to the recent addition of about 37,000 illegal buildings in Chennai. Of late Kilpauk, Pursawalkkam and Choolai have witnessed several drives against illegal buildings.
