Jogeshwari-Vikhroli bridge finally ready
Finally after five years of promise Jogeshwari-Vikhroli link road (JVLR) will be opening by January, 2011.
Along the bridge side 10 girders have been placed to match the road’s eight lanes.
Since five years the construction had not lived up to its promise in providing east-west connectivity.
Commuters used to spend peak-hour traffic for around 60 minutes between the end points of the bridge.
However, form now onwards the bridge is being widened to ease the traffic chaos in Mumbai.
