Karnataka to become first state to provide guaranteed land titles

Now there would not be a single case of land titles, at least from now onwards in Karnataka.
The state will be the first one in the country to guarantee land titles.
There have been many previous cases of illegal land titles. To resolve this, the land titles will be issued under the Urban Property Ownership Records (UPOR) project.
All the legal hassles has started with surveying 275,000 properties in the Mysore urban area.
