Land acquisition cases hit Noida Extension buyers again
Supreme Court has once again issued separate notices to UP Government and Greater Noida authority against land acquisition.
A group of farmers from Ghodi Bachheda village of Gautam Buddha Nagar district have filed a petition due to acquisition of their agricultural land in the area.
The farmers have challenged the earlier Allahabad High Court verdict which came on October 21, 2011.
The petitioners have to say that the authority had acquired their land under emergency clause for the builders and took money much higher than what was given as compensation for farmers.
Till now, neither the authority nor the government has thought of any development plan for their land.
