Land cheating case booked by Economic offence wing
Homi Patrawala, a fort-based developer in Mumbai was arrested for cheating on a purchase of a bungalow plot at Khar.
This developer was held for duping Ashok Mohanani of the Ekta Group for a sum of Rs 6.5 crore.
The economic offences wing (EOW) of the Mumbai police after a detailed investigation, came to a conclusion that the developer had misrepresented the identity of the original plot owner.
When this property failed to get the registration of deed done, the case took all these twist and turns finally came into concern of the police department.
