Land in Mumbai fixed with disputes
A 500 acre land in Goregaon, Mumbai was planned to be converted into club house and bungalows.
This land is estimated to cost around Rs 5,000 crore and comes under no-development zone (NDZ) and coastal regulation zone (CRZ).
However, this development plan was stopped by environmentalists as the land was once covered with mangroves and these builders wanted to clear the land.
Later on in the year 2002, the Bombay High Court as well as the Supreme Court booked an illegal case on this land.
Since years the case has been kept unsolved!
