Localities compete to earn distinction of being the cleanest in Patna
With Chhath puja round the corner different localities in Patna are vying to earn the distinction of being the cleanest locality in the City. All the localities are decked up with lights and decors to give themselves a spanky look. Especially the streets leading to the ghats. Voluntary organisations and residents themselves have come forward to make the initiative successful.
Residents feel that different localities are actually competing to get the title of being the spankiest locality. Volunteers are involved in sweeping and cleaning the streets. They have also taken measures to lit the ghats adequately for the convenience of the devotees. Students are also taking initiative for the cause. Those who cant actively support the cause have supported indirectly through donations.
