Make Space says Chandigarh Municipal corporation to Enchroachers
Encroachments seems to be a major problems these days in the markets in Chandigarh.The Chandigarh municipal corporation have repeated warned the encroachers however the warnings seem to be flouted by errant shopkeepers and vendors. The problems is so that commuting through the streets seems to be a nightmarish ordeal. Many shopkeepers have displayed there goods narrowing the gap of the the streets. These streets are some of the most jammed streets in the area.
The situation can be particularly visible in Patel Market, Sadar Bazar and Shastri Market.And with Diwali round the corner the flouting of the norms is rampant. Due to encroaching there is no parking space left for and adds to the chaos in the markets. The law enforcement officials have also stepped into do their bit to stop the flouting of the norms by issuing strict norms and penalising the guilty.
