Mishra, wife assets increases

The west Delhi MP Mahabal Mishra has gained the most from the city’s real estate boom. In the last five years there has been the continuous increase in the assets of Mr. Mishra and his wife. The property of Mr. Mishra valued at Rs2.75 crore in 2009 whereas the current value of their property is Rs 33.46 crore.

The value of Mr.Mishra’s property is Rs 16.66 crore-Rs 13.81 crore, the worth of his wife’s property is Rs 19.65 crore. Mr.Mishra has gained maximum benefit from his old investment in areas like Nangloi, where he and his wife own six Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) sheds; Mahavir Enclave, and Vijay Enclave near his residence in Dwarka.

After he got elected as the MP in year 2009, Mr. Mishra had purchased two properties-a non-agricultural land in Mundka and a DSIDC shed in Nangloi Industrial Area. The non-agriculture land has been purchased for Rs 10.10 lakh, while its current worth is Rs 2.5 crore. The value of other property at the time of purchase was Rs1.79 crore but its current value is Rs 2.5 crore.

In the last 10 years, Mr. Mishra has invested a big amount in the real estate. The couple together has 18 properties across the city. Most of these properties have been purchased during his tenure as the municipal councilor and member of the Delhi assembly.

The couple has movable assets of value Rs 5.35 crore compared to Rs 12.35 lakh in 2009. Both of them have shares of value around Rs 80 lakh in U&M Overseas Pvt Ltd, an unlisted company.

The couple has the capital accounts of value Rs 1.5 crore each in two proprietorship firms. Mr Mishra has two SUVs of total value Rs 45 lakh while his wife uses the Honda Civic. In last 5 years their money increased from Rs 15 lakh (in 2009) to Rs 86 lakh.
