MMRDA to spend Rs.600 crores for Road Construction

In Mumbai there is frequent complaint over the issues of tardy roads all over the city. Henceforth to give a pause to all the issues related to road development Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has already bid orders for the improvement of the roads in Mumbai city. This authority is ahead decided to spend nearly Rs. 600 crores to have a through repair on the tardy and bumpy roads in the city for nearly the distance of 145 kms.

The highway roads and also main city roads have been taken under consideration. The Kalyan-B adlapur-Vangani State Highway which is abut 28 kms, Badlapur State Highway which covers nearly 19 kms and also Nalasopara Nirmal Road which is at a stretch of 12 kms also comes under the list made by MMRDA wing. This scheme is expected to improve the road traffic which is a major prevailing issue all over the city. MMRDA, if takes this scheme strictly and do the same to the city, they would be proving their best and the commuters and residents in Mumbai would be much relieved.
