Multi-modal transport a future of Public Transport in India
Government of Karnataka is coming forward with a new animus wherein various forms of public transport are coming together with an overview aim of a multi-modal transport. MK Shankarlinge Gowda the principal secretary of Transport authority of Karnataka reported over this new ground plan and said, midst India being a growing economy the multi-modal transport plan sounds to be very vibrant. He also added on saying that the main theme encouraged at one of the conference held by Volvo Bus Corporation was all about the public transport in Karnataka state and the the highlight discussion plans about reducing traffic in all the cities by avoiding individuals to travel in their vehicles instead to apt for one convenient public transportation.
However the president of Volvo Bus Corporation Gowda, Hakan Karlson reported saying that even with the on growing urbanization they are aiming hard to give best of best efficient bus system and he added on saying that, to provide a good quality and convenient transportation is Volvo Bus Corporation’s dire aim. He also added on saying that the volvo will be highlighting various concepts of public transportation which have already been proved successful in other nations also upholding environment initiatives resulting in saving fuel consumption. Volvo buses in India have already proved a huge success and promises to do so in future also, Karlson added.
