Murphy Town residents demand proper sewage lines

No Comments Sub Category:Uncategorized Posted On: Mar 28, 2012

Murphy Town, one of the oldest localities in Bangalore was also known as Knoxpet.

Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) had renamed the area as Hoysala Nagar after the dynasty that ruled the state.

The colony which had so much historical imporatance is losing its charm due to unavailability of civic amenities in the neighbourhood.

In Murphy Town 6th Cross and Jayarajnagar, sewage lines get blocked occasionally and waste water overflows out causing inconvenience to residents.

As waste water stagnates, lots of mosquitoes swarm over the area which is prone to many diseases.

Now the residents demand proper sewage lines in the area as the stench is becoming unbearable day by day.
