Nalgonda residents relieved as water pumping starts
The residents of the Old City are relieved as the leakage at the cistern located in Puttangadi in Nalgonda district was repaired on Thursday.
Since the leak is repaired, normal pumping of water to the city started.
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board(HMWSSB) on Thursday has stated that supply from Krishna Drinking Water Supply Phase-I & II to the twin cities was back to normal in an official announcement.
Due to a leakage in the cistern pumping was stopped and several areas of the city faced water shortage from the past few days.
