No commercial activities in a residential area
A good news for the residential areas and the Bangaloreans residing in them.
According to a recent High Court order, there will be no further commercial activities and trade going on in residential areas according to Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP), 1995.
The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) and the Bangalore Metropolitan Region Development Authority (BMRDA) have been directed to stop giving permissions for carrying out such activities in residential zones.
The initiative had been taken challenging the Master Plan 2015 and it was petitioned by around 17 petitioners.
