In Noida city there are nearly 74 signaled crossings and over 3 lakh vehicles commuting everyday. The traffic department in Delhi is facing tough situation to control the traffic and the commuters are facing lot of chaos.

The Noida Traffic Police are currently looking forward to appoint traffic cops for the Noida city as the city prevailing situation demands more. According to the government statistics there are nearly 5,514 traffic police individuals working in Delhi and hardly 150 officers are working in the Gautam Budh district. The situations during the time of emergency are crossing the control of the existing traffic department. Henceforth to avoid these situations, Noida Traffic Police Authority has also set up a Facebook page to recruit more cops.

A senior traffic police inspector reported saying that even if the current on duty officers work with two shifts, the traffic will be impossible to manage. The rainy season is worsening the effects, leading to heavy traffic jam all over the city especially over the weekends. Amit Aggarwal,  who is a part of the Noida Traffic Initiative reported saying that they are currently recruiting the officers to manage the traffic chaos and also they are planning out the sketch of entire traffic department to control traffic for the welfare of the commuters in Noida.
