Land details of 73 villages of the Gurgaon district have been computerised and integrated with online system. This new process will help in controlling fraud cases in sale of land deals.
According to concerned officials, after the system started, delivering of hand written copy of Jamabandi in these villages has been totally banned. There will be no handwritten documents given by any officials or authorities and from now onwards only computer generated copy will be given to the landowners. The Jamabandis will be made available online and anyone can check the records pertaining to their land in Gurgaon by logging on to the website- jamabandi.nic.in.
The revenue officials have been asked to conjoin Haryana Registration Information System (HARIS) with Haryana Land Record Information System (HALRIS) related to the land records of all the villages in the district as fast as possible.
As the system starts, the registration of sale deed of any property or piece of land will be automatically be updated directly in the Jamabandi. This will not only keep the correct records but also will help to check the fraud cases of land. This will be a controller which will reduce fraud cases in NCR region.
Even the system of including name of the buyers in the mutation register will be made simpler, which will ease the process of transaction of properties or land piece.
As for now the buyers of the land normally do not got the mutation entry of the land in their name after the registration of sale deed, as it was a long procedure.
