Ooty demands a separate lane for cycles
Who does not know about Ooty town in India? A small town known for its rich greenery and beauty is right now in news.
The city till date is so peaceful that there is not much of traffic, no pollution, noise-free and population less.
These are few favorable factors which has kept Ooty as tourism hotspot and also residential hotspot in India.
Now, the citizens of Ooty are demanding separate lane for cyclists. Here, in Ooty people commute more using cycle than motor vehicles.
During a recent meeting held by the Nilgirs chapter of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in concern with nature, the citizens, students of Ooty demanded separate lane for cycle to preserve the nature.
