Pavements along with garbage razed away!
Hue and cry to clean the garbage resulted in razing away of the pavements!
Residents of Gandhi Nagar, Adyar have been suffering a lot from the uncleared garbage and were unable to walk on the pavements.
When their concern was heard, Chennai Corporation with the help of earth movers cleared the garbage but in the task, they demolished the pavements and everything present on the road.
The residents allege that the corporation has also started digging a pit after the demolition of the footpath. All these is making their stay in the area more worse.
