Power purchase deeded between Bihar Electricty Board and Essar Company
Essar Energy group recently spread a word in concern with its long term power pact with Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB). The duos have come forward with a new range of idea to avoid power supply issue, the boards have decided to supply 300 MW power from the Tori-I plant in Jharkhand. For the welfare of this plan laid by the two companies a coal-fired power station is under construction in Jharkhand.
Soon after the coal power station is completed the BSEB will be all set to release power supply to the concerned cities, this has promised not to raise any issue regarding acute power supply to the residents. This deal between Essar Energy group and BSEB has been the second one and a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA). The residents in the northern states are in a sigh of relief with the promise made by the electricity board and the Essar company.
