No Comments Sub Category:Uncategorized Posted On: Nov 08, 2011

The Dadri wetlands in Greater Noida which has been shelter for nearly 200 species of rare birds now it has been acquired for private construction. It is a shameful act upheld by both the private developer as well for the Chief Conservator of Forests for being responsible for damaging the environment. There are complaints in concern with the improper maintenance of the forest area, on behalf of it, the private contractors got easy access into the wetland area and have already started the construction work.

However the Union Government has taken initiative of this case and has sent a warning letter to the Chief Conservator of Forests and also to the Gautam Budh Nagar district administration to maintain the forest land with care and also to clear away all the construction activities of private developers there.
Conservator of Forests, YK Singh Chauhan reported saying that the letter has been sent to stop private construction and also to conserve the rare birds in the forest area. If the forest officials fail to follow the orders sent by the union government, illegal case is sure to be booked under the eye of law.
