Properties worth lakhs was burnt into ashes in Allahabad
A major fire broke out in three shops situated at MG Marg in Allahabad. These commercial properties worth lakhs in present real estate market were burnt to ashes. Chief fire officer said that, they needed two fire extinguishers to turn off the fire and that the initial investigations indicated “short circuit” as a reason for this major fire break down.
The officer also said a further investigation has been initiated to trace the actual reason for this major fire spread. The officials first cut the power supply in the market area and then started with the operations to pull down the fire. Once the building was rescued, the chief officer briefed the building owners to be aware of such consequences in future.
