Pune Builders at Police Custody under case of Urban Land Ceiling scam
The magisterial court at Pune had arrested builders in concern with the Urban Land Ceiling (ULC) certificate scam. The builders namely Rajendra Lunkad, Ravindra Lunkad and Ashok Patel owned real estate hub “Vishwa Developers”. Recently all these developers were granted bail form the same magisterial court meanwhile they will be under the jurisdiction of criminal investigation department (CID) at regular intervals.
They were released in concern with the personal bond payment of Rs. 15,000 from each individual. The defence lawyer reported saying that the builders had never taken pains of submitting the ULC certificate to the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, henceforth the land belonging to them was filed upon an First Information Report (FIR). The builders have to pay for the crime they have committed until the law puts an hold to this case.
