Register offices in Tamil Nadu witnessing a long queue
Due to the announcement made by the state government to make the hike in property registration charge, the home buyers in Tamil Nadu are rushing to register their properties.
The new property guideline will come into force from 1st April 2012.
According to officials, the registration charge will increase by 15% to 20% specially in budget housing category.
Lot of individuals who bought their apartments in Tiruvallur or Kanchipuram gathered to the sub registrar offices to register their properties in Kanchipuram.
It is also observed that lot of builders allowing registration without receiving the full payment to help the customers.
