Resident Associations demands mini-bus services
The state government has taken steps to introduce 100 mini-buses in Chennai by the end of this year.The mini-bus services would be operated as feeder services linking residential colonies to the nearest railway stations and bus terminuses. The Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) has already completed a preliminary study and determined that mini-buses can be operated in places like Red Hills, Tiruvottiyur, Kelambakkam and Tambaram.
Meanwhile, residents in areas not covered by the MTC survey have urged the corporation to include those places too. The Federation of Civic and Welfare Associations of Pallavaram Municipality has appealed to the MTC to consider operation of mini-buses from Selaiyur to GST Road via Hasthinapuram, from Nanmangalam to Chromepet via Nemilichery and from Moovarasampet to the Pallavaram railway station.
The people in areas like Porur, Mogappair, Madipakkam, Puzhudivakkam, Maduravoyal, Chrompet, Pattabiram, Nerkundram, Choolaimedu, Vyasarpadi want the transport corporation to include their localities in the operational jurisdiction of mini-buse services.
the transport corporation had been getting demands for more services from people in several residential areas, mainly in the suburbs. MTC managing director V Babu assured residents that the transport corporation would consider all such demands at the time of introduction of mini-buses.

Electricity saving is the first need of the hour today..Being a electrical engineer i do know what all it takes to do this. I had already phased out normal incandescent bulbs havells CFLs because Acc to my perspective havells is the brand whose products are really energy saving.I am looking further to steps like these to save max electricity.
This is absolutely right that LED Product is great measurement and requirement of our need and sources without this product we can not handle our system because it is depend upon the electricity circuit.
