Residents insist for a full fledged police station

No Comments Sub Category:Apartment News,Awareness,Community,Other cities Posted On: Nov 24, 2012

The residents of Adarshnagar in Visakhapatnam  are demanding for a well-developed police station in the region, development of parks and handing over of burial ground site by the Department of Animal Husbandry to local people.

The region comprising Adarshanagar and Arilova has a population of over a lakh and there is great need of a fully fledged police station in the region. A number of crime incidents, including robberies and thefts are taking place, alleged a social worker.

Since there is not much of commercial development in the region, and absence of parks, eateries, hotels, etc., the colonies are inactive most of the time. And the police outpost at Arilova being small, it is not adequate to cater the needs.

Adarshnagar has been lately observing many developmental activities including water tap connections to the hill-top residents and development of park.
