Residents of Aardee Infrastructure annoyed by poor upkeep of Park
Aardee Infrastructure Private Limited in the Millennium City has huge buildings as common sight but greenery is missing. The apartment has three parks but has no greenery and of no use. Residents have started avoiding the parks. After rains, it is difficult to spot a pit in these parks.
In our society, there are three parks, the only place where people can go for walks. But they have turned into a place where only pits are visible,” said TN Kaul, president, Resident Welfare Association, Aardee City. Residents are complaining that all the three parks in the society have been dug up to lay gas pipeline. Though the work has been completed, the parks are full of pits giving open invitation to any disaster. One of the three parks is especially built for children.
Sumesh Narang, general secretary of the association, said, “Children are annoyed as they have been asked by their parents not to visit the parks. There is no other place in the area where they can enjoy themselves.” Residents have started avoiding the parks. We prefer not to send children there. Even we ourselves avoid going there,” Mamta Sharma, a resident, said.
Anil Hasija, senior vice-president, Aardee Infrastructure Private Limited, said, “The pipe is being laid by Indian Oil Corporation. It is a government project and we need to support this project. We would get the parks repaired soon. But the process is getting delayed because of the rainy season.”
