Residents protest to get back community centre from developer
Residents’ welfare association (RWA) of Sushant Lok Phase-1 has been protesting to get back their community centre from a developer.
Ansal API, developer of the township has taken the centre and has been using it as a club.
Deputy commissioner has assured the RWA and will visit the community centre in the first week of April.
Residents have been fighting for ten years for the same with the developer. The centre was earlier leased to a private organisation.
They started protesting after filing a case and several meetings with the developer and Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) officials.
However, the consultant of the developer has to say that since the matter is in court now, they just have to wait and they will do whatever is the court’s order.
