Residents to meet NHAI officials
Residents of Ambience Lagoon and DLF U-block decided to meet the officers of NHAI to register a complaint against the decision to block the U-turn near Ambience Mall. The residents also say that this decision of blocking the U-turn is creating disturbance in their normal life. On Wednesday evening almost 70 residents stopped the traffic at the toll plaza to catch the attention of NHAI.
The residents were not able to solve their problem so they decided to meet NHAI officials in Gurgaon office and requested the NHAI authority to re-open the U-turn as soon as possible.
Mr. Swaran Parihar, resident of Ambience Lagoon, says that their life is going through a tough phase since the u-turn got closed. The children of their society had been facing problems because the school bus would not come inside the complex. They claim that they have to pay a commercial tax to enter Delhi and take a U-turn from Rajokri flyover just to pick up our kids. They also said that they had been facing difficult times and the situation now has become unbearable.
Mr. Rakesh Yadav of DLF U-block complained to the Gurgaon traffic police regarding NHAI authority refusing to open the U-turn.
He also added that they are forced to protest against NHAI because they didn’t have any other option. They are optimistic that when they meet NHAI officials, they will understand the problem and work towards a possible solution.
