RWAs do their part to increase voters turnout
As the upcoming municipal elections are fast approaching in New Delhi, residents’ welfare associations (RWAs) are also working hard to do their part.
The residents have been participating in awareness campaigns to increase the number of voters on the D Day.
They approached state election commissioner and sought permission on putting up posters and hoardings for more awareness for voting.
The campaign will also include painting competitions, music shows and newsletters to get more voters towards the booth. Even the RWAs claim that they have direct contact with the residents of Delhi and can convince them to vote on the poll day.
