RWH compulsion still happening in Bangalore!

Comments(2) Sub Category:Awareness,Community Posted On: Jan 03, 2012

Ridiculous! Seems like there is no interest in the citizens to encourage and save environment.

December 31, 2011 was a final call for the residents of Bangalore to implement Rain Water Harvesting (RWH) system.

However, as usual there was a dead response received wherein only 50 percent of the whole population did follow up the same.

Also, there is one apartment in HSR layout in Bangalore which did keep up the orders by Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP).

Nagarjuna Greenidge apartments in Sector-2 has completed the task of implementing RWH system completely.

I recommend BBMP should not approve new buildings or apartments without RWH and BBMP Bangalore should ensure that these RWH are maintained properly after installation has been reported by owner.

Install RWH and depend minimum on groundwater. What do you feel on the RWH Bangalore?

    Thank you

Thank you for this good post…. I feel Rain Water Harvesting (RWH) system should be mandatory in all cities and in Bangalore, instead of BWSSB or BBMP extending deadline. There should be strict law to make some lazy property owners to install RWH in their property.
