RWH inspection begins in Bangalore
In concern with the implementation of Rain water harvesting (RWH) system in the residential sectors in Bangalore city was reported as a failure at the first mandatory rule.
According to the recent statistics, hardly 50 percent of the total population has implemented RWH system.
Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) and Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) do feel the need of compulsory implementation of RWH system with growing water shortage problems.
To follow up this strictly, BWSSB engineers will commence on inspection to get a vague data of non-implemented ratings and insisting them to implement compulsorily.
Follow up to this BWSSB has been informed to sanction any 60*40 sites only with the compulsion of implementing RWH plan.
Also be it apartments or individual houses, the electricity board will keep a follow up wherein the engineers and meter readers will have an eye on them till the constructions are completed.
