Shortage of skilled labourers in realty sector
Early this year real estate sector witnessed a shortage of unskilled labourers. But in the second half of the year, there is a huge unmet demand for skilled professionals in the domain.
These professionals include architects, civil engineers, designers and planners.
Due to the huge demand-supply gap, the builders are unable to build a good revenue along with late deliveries of project and hike in property prices.
The main reason is that half of the engineering students are opting for IT jobs rather than core civil engineering jobs.
