Speedy Metro construction gives relief to residents
Residents of Andheri (W) are now relieved as the Mumbai Metro construction works pick-up speed.
From years together, residents have been suffering of traffic jams and broken drainage systems due to the slow progress of metro construction.
Shashi Mehta, a resident of Four Bungalows, said that residents along the J P Road stretch, starting from Seven Bungalows, avoid going to Andheri station due to bad roads.
Traffic along SV Road is being diverted everyday around 11.30 pm so that Metro work can be carried out at the junction, said Mukesh Ganeshmal, who heads a local association of shopkeepers in the area.
