Stay order on RWA taking over Orchid Petals maintenance
The residents welfare association (RWA) of Orchid Petals received a stay order from the city court on taking over the maintenance of the entire township until the next hearing date when the builder will file a written submission on the issue.
The residents of Orchid Petals complained that while the hearing of the court was going on, some goons of the builder came to the colony and picked up fights with people. They tried to forcibly open gate No. 1. A residents group went to the court for the hearing session and rest of the residents called local police to seek help but were shocked by the cops response. The police asked them why this issue is not taken care by the RWA.
Although police came and took care of the situation, residents are scared that the goons will come again and threaten them. RWA hired 50 more security guards including technicians to run the power and water system for the colony.
The situation although remains the same and large number of residents gathered in the courtroom explained to the honorable judge how they have been provided shoddy services which sometimes even put the lives of residents at risk.
While the hearing was going on, the counsel for the maintenance agency argued with the residents and said that they should honour the contract they has signed with the maintenance agency.
Currently, the RWA is taking care of all the affairs of the township as claimed by the Dharam Vir Yadav, president of Sheetal RWA of Mayfield Gardens, who supported the agitation by Orchid Petals RWA.
